Jai is a natural leader and good example for the younger ones. He enjoys Thai Language class but is also interested in learning English. He loves American food like hamburgers and pizza. His favorite soccer team is Real Madrid, and he hopes one day to visit England. He likes to watch action movies like Iron Man and wants to be a tour guide when he grows up.
Michael loves learning English and is very outgoing to speak it! ¬†For fun Michael likes to play soccer or ping-pong with friends and play video games. His favorite food is stir-fried basil with meat. He likes watching action movies and playing guitar for the worship team. ¬†When he grows up he wants to be a photographer¬†and play soccer in America. ¬†His favorite verse of the Bible is 1 Chronicles 17:17.
La enjoys learning Thai and English. When he grows up he wants to be a tour guide because he loves speaking English. For fun he likes to play soccer and watch comedy movies. ¬†Though he likes potatoes and meat for dinner, his favorite dessert is chocolate brownies! ¬†He likes to play ping-pong and listen to music in his spare time, especially to Christian rap like NF. ¬†He likes to read Proverbs in the Bible for its wisdom and good advice.
Joseph has a big smile and loves to joke around with his friends! ¬†He hopes to be a football coach when he grows up. His favorite color is blue, and his favorite food to eat are noodles. His favorite subject in school is history. ¬†In his spare time, Joseph likes to play futsal (a sport played with a small soccer ball and short court) and watch cartoons.
Noon is a gifted artist and reader, and she excels in school! ¬†She loves spaghetti and the Korean dessert bingsu. ¬†Her favorite sport to play is Badminton and she really likes card games! ¬†Noon is a sweet girl and enjoys taking care of animals, especially her cat. ¬†Her favorite movies are the Narnia movies or Percy Jackson series. ¬† Galatians 6:9 is the verse she draws from for encouragement. ¬†When she grows up she’d like to attend college and study hotel business management.
Kham Kong’s¬†favorite subjects to study are math and English, but she learns most new things quickly. She is typically quiet, but she is a good listener and often gives compliments.¬† She also enjoys exercising outside by walking and playing volleyball and also draws in her free time. Kham Kong enjoys eating green curry and watching musicals. ¬†One day she’d like to use her English skills to become a tour guide!
Toon is a spunky kid who loves to go everywhere and do everything the big kids do!¬† He loves to swim and play with his friends and enjoys coloring at school. ¬†His favorite color is red, favorite movie is Percy Jackson, favorite subject is science, and his favorite sport is soccer. Toon loves babies and displays his protective/teaching side when around them. When he gets older, he wants to play the Thai sport takraw professionally.
Akom arrived at Faith Village in the summer of 2016. He is fun and smiley and loves fried chicken from KFC. ¬†He is a very good student — quick to learn anything you teach him!¬† Music is one of his most-skilled areas as he plays drums and guitar and is often heard practicing beatboxing. Akom wants to be a football coach when he grows up. His favorite color is yellow, and his favorite BPL team is the Ottenham Hotspurs.
Song is Akom’s younger brother. ¬†He has a ready, goofy grin, and loves to hang out with his friends. ¬†His favorite color is green and his favorite movie is Percy Jackson. ¬†He likes to study history in school, and play football in his free time. ¬†He’s not quite sure what he wants to be when he grows up, but he knows he wants to work! ¬†ūüôā
Matthew came to us in December 2016 with his brother Surakit. ¬†Shy and with a gentle spirit, it took him a while to open up, but now he loves his friends and plays around on the farm every day! ¬†His favorite color is yellow, his favorite ¬†food is pizza, and his favorite movie is Thor. ¬†He enjoys studying math in school, and likes to play soccer in his free time. ¬†When he grows up he wants to be a football coach!
Ali Rot enjoys hanging out with her best friend Kham Kong. ¬†Her favorite sport is the Thai sport called takraw. ¬†Her favorite colors are blue and white. ¬†She enjoys watching cartoons, playing card and board games, and being active. ¬†When she grows up she wants to be a chef!
Surakit is a lively little boy! ¬†When he first came to us in December 2016, he couldn’t speak a word of Shan or Thai. ¬†But his quick wit and outgoing personality allowed him to pick the languages up quickly, and now he won’t stop talking! ¬†He loves playing with toys and chatting with his older brothers and sisters. ¬†His favorite colors are the Christmas colors: green and red. ¬†He likes superman and eating fried rice. ¬†When he grows up he wants to work at a church!
Dao came to us in spring of 2016. ¬†She¬†is a sweet-spirited girl with a gentle spirit and sweet smile! ¬†She loves playing with animals and playing badminton. ¬†Her favorite thing to eat is fish. ¬†Her favorite subject in school is math, but she’d like to be a tour guide when she grows up!
A fun-loving and curious young man, David can easily imagine himself as an adventurer in the novel Treasure Island.¬†The kindness of Jesus inspires him, especially learning from the parable He told of the Good Samaritan. He enjoys joking, makes friends easily, and¬† likes to play soccer and basketball. ¬†David likes all the colors except pink, and loves hamburgers!
Yappa, the keen observer, says he likes all kinds of candy, and his favorite color is green. He hopes to learn drums, and someday he would like to become a professional soccer player. ¬†But for now, Yappa will fill his free time by swimming, watching the Hulk, and learning English.
Win is a kind-hearted boy with a sweet smile. ¬†He enjoys school, and even likes to study in his free time! ¬†His favorite subject is English. ¬†He likes the color blue, and enjoys watching superhero movies. ¬†Even though he’s not sure what he wants to do when he grows up, he knows he’d like to learn the guitar one day!
