Pastors David and Paula Mahawon have served the Lord in Southeast Asia since 1984. They founded TCI in 1992 with the vision of reaching the unreached peoples of Southeast Asia within the 10/40 Window for Christ. Their ministry focuses on teaching, training, and empowering believers to become leaders who can reach and disciple others. They now serve in an apostolic role, overseeing TCI ministries and churches.
Jae Fong is an evangelism leader and translator at Victory Church Thaton. She regularly travels to local villages to share the Gospel and works on translating the Shan Bible. She also serves as a teacher at our VCL Homeschool. Jae has worked with TCI for over 30 years and is fluent in six languages.
Noom is an evangelism leader and the head cook for Faith Village Children’s Home. Her late husband, Simon, was the former director of Faith Village Children’s Home. Noom is a bold evangelist and the best cook in Thailand.
Pastor Paula over sees and co-ordinates the education of the students at Victory Life Christian learning center, where the children are educated in the Bible, Christian values, English, academic studies of various kinds, and essential life skills before leaving Faith Village.
Our Worship team is made up of four of our older teens. Sang-Na, Tun, Gawn, and Song are all graduates from Asaph’s Journal Worship School. They co-ordinate and direct all of the music at Faith Village and Victory Church – Thaton. All four play musical instruments and have organized music lessons for the younger children at Faith village. They are truly a blessing to us all.
Sawang is the operations coordinator of Faith Village Children’s Home and one of our Bible translators. He coordinates agriculture projects, and day-to-day operations of the Village.
Pastor David is the director of Faith Village Children’s Home, and is also the senior pastor of Victory Church. He is also in the Apostolic role of all our TCI churches, and ministries.
Pastor Rang is one of the first graduates of our Shan Bible School and has faithfully served on TCI staff for over 30 years. Together with his wife, he serves as the senior pastor of Victory Church Ban Ma Pha. In addition to his pastoral ministry, Pastor Rang is also a Shan Bible translator, interpreter, accomplished musician, singer, and songwriter for Shan gospel music.
