The month of October has been a busy and exciting month here at Victory Church Thaton and at Faith village. We had Pastors Dana and Liz Niles, Mission Directors of the Association of Faith Churches and Ministries come and minister. Pastor Dana preached a powerful message on healing in which the Lord healed several people. One outstanding miracle was with a little 5-year-old boy from a village. He had attended church several times but could not speak a word. His little 3-year-old sister was also not able to talk. After coming to the altar for prayer that morning, he received his healing and was able to talk and play normally for the first time. Praise God! We also baptized two children who had been saved the week before.
Earlier in the month, we also had a Shan engagement ceremony. It was a beautiful happy event. Ooy Mahawan, our niece, daughter of Pastor David’s brother Simon, became engaged to one of our foster son’s we raised, Sang (Amphon) Mahawan. The wedding will be sometime next year.
