From Trumpets Of Christ

The temperatures have been climbing these past few weeks, ushering in the hot season of Thailand. Though things seem dry and oppressively hot, we have many reasons to rejoice this month!
For one, we got to celebrate the death and resurrection of our Savior on Easter Sunday! Since food and fellowship is such a big part of the Thai culture, we did plenty of that. But we also had a wonderful service geared towards sharing the good news of Easter. The English program draws Buddhist kids from all over our community to our church each week. We had the privilege of sharing the Easter story with them, and also doing a church-wide egg hunt after service!
After Easter, the kids took off on their annual summer vacation. It was four days packed full of water parks, food, BB guns, shopping, and movies. We’re so grateful to not only get the opportunity to raise these children for Christ, but to also have fun with them! They had a ball, and we rate this year’s vacation an all-around success.
